Sankofa Bayou Fest

Sankofa Community Development Corporation will host Sankofa Bayou Fest, a free, family‑friendly outdoor festival celebrating New Orleans culture and the great outdoors at Sankofa Wetland Park & Nature Trail. This year’s Bayou Fest will present the opening of the Phase I of the newly developed birding trail, and unveiling of plans for a new green outdoor amphitheater at the Wetland Park, major milestones in local environmental restoration efforts.
